Brazil's Transmission Auction Secures R$8.9 Billion in Planned Investment

On 30 October 2026, Brazil's transmission auction 4/2026 awarded eight project lots across seven states, securing more than R$8.9 billion in planned investment. The projects include approximately 1,866 kilometres of new transmission lines and related substation infrastructure, creating opportunities for engineering contractors, electrical-equipment suppliers and grid technology companies.
